MINDFUL SCHOOLS K-5 CURRICULUM

Mindful Schools is an internationally renowned non-profit organization founded in 2007 to train teachers to deliver a totally secular neuroscience based curriculum to children in school settings. The philosophy is to present short periods of mindfulness repeated often with 15 minute units offered twice a week over the course of 16 weeks. Mindful Schools lessons complement any other Social Emotional Learning programs in place in schools and leave both students and teachers with new tools for self-regulating and creating a harmonious classroom.
